Boulder Wedding Flowers | Adrienne & Evan

I have been oohing and ahhing over these photos since I received them!  When Rachel of Talia Events called me up to set up a consultation with her bride, Adrienne, I was delighted!  Rachel and I have done a number of photoshoot projects together and have become friends in the process, but we had yet to do a wedding together!  So this was a fun one!  And let me tell you, hire Rachel!  Because she planned one beautiful event.  Adrienne's wedding was super classy, graceful, and fun.  Of course it helped that Adrienne and her sweet-now-husband share a sweet, romantic love for each other that radiates to everyone around them!

Some of my favorite details of this gorgeous wedding were our flower choices.  Adrienne wanted a very natural, subdued look, so we chose to go more of a wildflower route.  Her centerpieces were duponi silk fabric and lace wrapped oval vases with beautiful wildflower arrangements.  We also made herb escort card bunches.  Each escort card was attached to a bunch of herbs which designated what dinner choice the guest had chosen.  Rosemary for chicken, lavender for beef, ect, etc.  I also loved that Even and Adrienne got married in the morning, rode off in a pedicab, and had quite a nice break before their night reception at The Boulderado!  So fun!

They had one of the sweetest first married kisses I have ever seen and to top things off, at the reception, Adrienne sang "At Last" to Evan along with a big band accompaniment.

Here is the list of amazing industry professionals that pulled this one off:

Planning: Rachel at Talia Events (Brides, if you don't have a planner, you should really hire her!  She's amazing!)
Photography: Rachael Grace Photography (Can't sing her praises enough either...I mean, just look at these pictures!)
Ceremony: Chautauqua Park in Boulder
Reception: Hotel Boulderado
Music: A Music Plus

Cori Cook Floral Design Featured in The Knot Colorado!

I am giddy to share that two of my favorite weddings from last year were featured in The Knot Colorado (The Fall/Winter 2010 edition)!  The Knot Colorado is a great resource for Colorado brides to get inspired and see real weddings that are happening here in our beautiful state!  Check out the Real Wedding Features (Jenn & Adam on page 39 and Elizabeth & Michael on page 41) to see more!  And while you're at it, check out my sweet ad on page 81 (:

This was particularly exciting to me as several years ago, when I was dreaming about starting my business, I wrote down some very specific goals and being published in a wedding mag was one of them!

Special thanks to Jenn & Beth, two of my favorite brides from last year, and their extraordinary photographers, Becky Young & David Gaston!  Enjoy!

3 Blissful Years | Happy Anniversary!

Today marks 3 years of marriage for my husband and me.  When I think about my life and the things that really matter, I am overwhelmed that God gave me Michael.  These 3 years have been marked by growth, trust, hope, God's faithfulness, a ton of love, and a lot of fun.  Just thought I would share a few of my favorite pics from our wedding day.  I wouldn't trade that day for anything in the world.  It was an absolutely perfect start to our marriage.  Enjoy!

These photos were taken by my favorite photographer in the whole world, Amy Squires.  She is now one of the "chicks" that runs Wedding Chicks.  Thank you Amy!  I will always think you are the best (:
