Della Terra Wedding Florist | Cori Cook + Audrey Hannah

I just love the textures and colors for this beautiful Della Terra wedding we did in August!  Isn't it lovely?  And I love when our flowers get to be the only "pop" of color in a wedding against darker, contrasting bridesmaid dresses!

One of our favorite things about this season was getting to design for more weddings in the beautiful Rocky Mountains.  We have designed for numerous weddings now at the Della Terra in Estes Park, and love this venue.  Not only is it a gorgeous location for a wedding, but their staff is super accommodating and stress free!  If you're looking for a venue in the mountains, you should definitely check it out!

Love these sassy bridesmaids!

The Bridal Bouquet was made of calla lilies, "Patience" garden roses, lisianthus, ranunculus, astible, and veronica.  I love how it turned out!

Style Me Pretty Feature | Cori Cook + Audrey Hannah Photo

Today is a good day!  It's the day I get to show my readers one of our most unique Cori Cook Floral Design weddings of the season.  AND...it happens to also featured on Style Me Pretty today!  Click here to see the feature!  It is always an honor to be featured on Style Me Pretty as it is one of the premier resources in the country for wedding planning and inspiration.  If you are planning on getting married anytime soon and need some ideas, you should definitely get to know it.

I knew I wanted to work with Stephanie from our initial consultation.  Her ideas were so unique, fun, and well-coordinated.  I love a themed event, so this one was right up our alley.

We incorporated her subtle bird theme into her floral arrangements by using twisted curly willow in all her arrangements.  For her bridesmaid bouquets, we twisted "nests" of curly willow and used interesting, textural florals with highly saturated greens to "pop" against the neutral dresses.  And it worked.

We also collaborated on her centerpieces and I love how they turned out.  Stephanie designed large sqaures of patterned fabric that set the stage for a unique mix of cracked pot arrangements, apothecary jars, bells jars, mercury glass votives, and a block-font table number sat on.  Each centerpiece was a different variation of this mix.  Bell jars held nests with robin's eggs and moss.

Audrey Hannah Photo photographed the wedding and did a stellar job as usual.  I adore her work, but always appreciate her ability to pose the perfect shot and capture details beautifully.  Check out her blog post on the same wedding here.

Enjoy this lovely wedding and please leave a comment!

The Bridal Bouquet was a rounded, hand-tied bouquet of white ranunculus with a twisted curly willow wreath and star of Bethlehem border.

Bridesmaid Bouquets were hand-tied bouquets of twisted curly willow wreaths, green hydrangea, green roses, scabiosa pods, white scabiosa flowers, green hypericum berries, white veronica, green cymbidium orchids, and green hanging amaranthus.  We hand-tied their bouquets in strips of patterned fabrics.

The Groomsmen Boutonnieres were made of the eye of a peacock feather, twisted curly willow pieces, and green cymbidium orchids.

The Groom's Boutonniere was made of white ranunculus, star of bethlehem, and twisted curly willow pieces to match the bridal bouquet.

For Stephanie's Aisle, we used an eclectic mix of mismatched bird cages and a mixture of large and tall cracked Anthropologie pot arrangements.  I loved how it turned out.  Best of all, we were able to re-purpose all the arrangements after the ceremony to be centerpieces.

Best response to a Groom seeing his Bride...EVER!

Escort Cards were lined up on a vintage door with ribbon clotheslines running across.

Red Charm | Hotel Monaco | Cara & Andrew

I love peonies.  I really do!  But, there's just something special about getting them in one of their most beautiful colors: Red Charm!  This lovely wedding happened in early May.  The color palate was black, white, and all kinds of lovely shades of RED!  The style was classic and elegant, the kind of wedding you always look back on and say, "That was a beautiful day!"

Cara---It was a true pleasure working with you!  I wish you & Andrew the very very best!

Red Ranunculus Boutonniere

Hand-tied bouquets made of red charm peonies, black bacarra roses, hearts roses, and red mini calla lilies.  Hand-tied in pewter satin ribbon with a white lace overlay.  Lovely!

This is my new favorite style of corsage!  A single bloom on a beaded wristlet.  It's simple and sophisticated!
