Denver Wedding | Grey & Yellow | Particulars + Cori Cook Floral Design

My very favorite colors and flowers came together this fall for one beautiful wedding at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science.  A punchy grey, yellow, and white color palette was played out with yellow garden roses, billy balls, oncidium orchids, airplants, and pieris...

There are only a few weeks here in Denver that my favorite little draping accent flower, pieris, is available, and much to my delight, this was it's glory week.  You should hear the squeals around here when pieris proudly enters the studio.  It's kind of ridiculous that this little flower creates such a commotion.  But it totally does.  See it peeking out of the girl's bouquets, creating the perfect draping effect?

This wedding really was a joy to be a part of.  I always love an opportunity to work with Emily of Particulars and the ways she adds fun to every event!

Enjoy this lovely wedding.  And feel free to leave a comment expressing your love for that pieris (:

Holy Ghost Catholic Church Wedding | Jodi + Drew Part I

When I first met Jodi and her family over coffee for our consutlation, I knew we would make a great team!  Not only is she incredibly sweet, creative, and beautiful, but she comes as a package deal with her equally talented and sweet sisters.  Lucky for us, these sisters are multi-talented in the wedding industry.  Jodi's eldest sister, Jenna, owns a fabulous paperware company that Jodi also works at called Fleur de Lis, A Paperie.  And Jodi's other sister, Jessica, is a fabulous wedding planner and planned every last detail of this wedding to a tee.  In fact, the Ciravella sisters even have their own wedding blog, Tutto Bella, which is super sweet and packed full of great fashion and design advice and fun wedding-related finds.

Enjoy Part I of this lovely wedding!

We lined the church's aisleway with rustic lanterns and pillar candles.  I love the simplicity of it.

The flower girl rode in a wagon decorated in viney florals down the aisle...

Jodi's bouquet was a blast to design and was inspired by her amazing gown (favorite wedding dress of the summer!)  It was a composit bouquet made to look like a romantic rosette.  I loved how it turned out and how perfect it looked with her dress.

The adorable Ciarvella sisters...

Bridesmaids Bouquets were made of sunflowers, bill balls, hydrangea, wheat, lysimachia, and bluplurum and hand-tied in burlap ribbon.

Part II: The Reception at Crooked Willow Farms coming soon...so stay tuned!
