When Kami and I met for coffee to talk about her wedding and she shared that I would get to design 13 custom bouquets for her bridesmaids all wearing different color dresses, I knew we were a perfect fit! Using this much color in the dead of winter warmed my heart like a good cup of coffee! Plus, I got to work with one of my fabulous new friends, Laura of Laura Murray Photography (see our "winter whites" photoshoot here). She captured the fun of this wedding and provided me with one of my very favorite bouquet collages of all time (:
Here is the wedding pro lineup:
Photography: Laura Murray Photography
Floral & Candy Table Design: Cori Cook Floral Design
Ceremony: Our Lady of Lourdes
Reception: The Grand Hyatt Denver
Linens: Chair Covers & Linens
Bride's Gown: Chia Lieu from The Little White Dress Shop
Custom bouquets for each bridesmaid. Top Left: A mix of whites and creams in garden roses, peonies, ranunculus, and spray roses (bridal bouquet), black star calla lilies, burgundy "hearts" roses, red tulips, orange gerbera daisies, amber roses, yellow daffodils (my fav!). Bottom Left: lime anthuriums, mint carnations, blue hydrangea, purple anemones, purple mokara orchids, fucshia peonies, pink peonies.
Wedding Style Tip: When having bridesmaids wear different color or style dresses, tie it all together by using the same color shoes and jewelry like these ladies. Also, we tied each bouquet in black to help with the uniformity.
Super fun custom, monogram letters made of all white carnations with a colorful polka dot loop. These are great to spice up church doors or entries to your reception. And venues don't mind them because they hang off of a simple wreath hanger which doesn't damage the door.
Each guest table had a tower of stacked, vintage tea-cups with a dainty peony and spray rose arrangement. Completed by a small pennant flag with Kami & Ryan's theme for the day: "Celebrate!"
Congratulations, Kami & Ryan! Marriage is a gift. Kami, it was a blast working with you! Thank you for trusting me to take your vision and run. Let's stay in touch (:
