University Club Wedding | Cori Cook Floral Design + Talia Events

Let's just face the fact---I've got Spring Fever.  You know how I know?  Because the single daffodil that popped up in my yard meant more to me than it probably should have.  I checked in with it often and was a little too sad when it died.  I've begun to hear birds chipping happily in the budding trees outside my window.  And I take advantage of any opportunity to be outside...when it's warm.  Well, today is not a Spring Day in Denver...Some how it sunk back into winter (that groundhog totally lied!) and I woke up to snow.  Snow is great---in the winter.  But not for a girl who has Spring Fever...

So, I thought I would bring a little Spring to my Denver friends today with this beautiful March wedding.  Everything about this wedding and couple was Springy.  From the bold colors, lighting, and bridesmaid dresses to the natural, relaxed vibe of Caki & Ryan's wedding day.  As I was designing Caki's flowers, I kept thinking to myself, if I were to get married again (same groom!), I would choose these colors.  Maybe it's the Spring Fever.  But I really loved how it turned out.  Cheery, vibrant, and just so...SPRING!

Vendor Love:
Photography: Adam & Imthiaz Photography (New friends of mine, I am a huge fan of their work!)
Day of Coordination: Talia Events (Fabulous job as always!)
Venue: University Club, Denver
Lighting: Decor 'N More, Inc.
Floral Design: Cori Cook Floral Design
Mini Desserts:  Happy Cakes

Bridal Bouquet: Juliet Garden roses, coral ranunculus, viburnum, peonies, spray roses, brunia, and wax flower hand-tied in burlap ribbon.  Boutonniere: Rosemary Sprigs with Waxflower tied in twine.

Loved these escort cards.  They were stamped with a blue cow or a red lobster to signify the guest's dinner choice.

Centerpieces: A set of vintage bottles and tinted mason jars to bring an old-country, elegant feel to the reception.  Arrangements made of Juliet garden roses, coral ranunculus, yellow parrot tulips, spray roses, veronica, viburnum, and waxflower.  To tie the look together, we made burlap squares to sit under the centerpiece and banded several of the bottles in twine.  A table number, several votives and adorable menu cards completed the look.

I loved the strung globe lighting done by Decor 'N More.

Congratulations, Caki & Ryan!  It was a pleasure to work with the two of you!  I wish you the very best!

The Rembrandt Yard Wedding Flowers | Michelle & Eric in Boulder, CO

Oooohhhh!  I just love sharing weddings like this one on my blog---This wedding was a blast from the very beginning! Michelle and Eric are the perfect clients.  They are obviously and completely in love, they are respectful, kind, considerate, and SO MUCH FUN!

This wedding was also the perfect wedding because it was the first time two of my fav buds and I got to work together! Rachel, from Talia Events coordinated the wedding, while the talented Becky Young photographed it (and both did a darn good job in my opinion!)  Beyond loving working with them, both have become true friends and have made my job way more fun!  Plus, in my opinion, when you get the three of us together, the collaboration is dynamic (:

We used a variety of seasonal, local florals like sunflowers, dahlias, bells of ireland, billy balls (my fav!), kale, jasmine, and as you can see...a few others (:  Enjoy these lovely photos compliments of the amazing Becky Young!

Eric & Michelle:  It was truly a pleasure to work with the two of you!  Congratulations on your marriage.  Marriage is such a gift.  Enjoy each other and love each other well!  And keep in touch.  More pizzas on the BBQ soon?!
